It was absolutely perfect!

As our adult daughter shared …”Thanks for everything-we all loved this house, especially the location right across the street from the bay beach w/the 2nd floor balcony! The sunsets were great, and it was so relaxing to sit outside there!” And her mama me liked the 1st floor big living area/dining area all windowed room!! My hubby and I had 2nd floor master BR/bath… our sweet long weekend vacay w/adult kids and our 4 “grands” made for extra HAPpY memories in our hearts!!

Great. Had a wonderful time. The only suggestion that I have is you may want to install a safety hold bar in the upstairs shower. The upstairs tub is very slippery. Also, I requested to rent the home next year for June 16-23. Never got an email confirming my request. Am I scheduled for that week? Thanks. And again thanks for the wonderful stay we had.

Perfect location for our family's annual getaway.

House was in great shape with a well stocked kitchen and thoughtful touches, like the wet bar/coffee bar by the balcony. Super nice, but also comfortable. Stayed with two small kids and was able to feel like we never left the beach. Sunsets are unmatched! Will definitely book again.

This was our first time to Cape Charles and my family and I had the best time. We will definitely be back to explore more of this small town. The rental was beautiful and perfect for me and my two sisters, and our families. The rooms in the attic were perfect for the kids (7 kids). We were directly across from the beach and had views of both the sunrise and sunset from the house. We were also just a walk down from the LOVE sign. Great location!

Big shout out to Christy (I hope I’m spelling that right) from Chesapeake Properties for her stellar customer service. She has an amazing positive energy and was a great welcome to Cape Charles.

Blue Bay is a beautifully decorated and maintained home! Lots of space for everyone, we particularly enjoyed the sun porch. Heated bathroom floors were particularly nice for our November vacation! If you have little ones in your party, definitely make sure they wear shoes when in the yard however, the little sandburs are vicious and caused quite a few crying spells.

This house and this location could not be more perfect. We celebrated our annual family reunion here. We had 10 people in our party and the house was perfect for that. It is very well equipped and appointed. We loved the porches and the huge kitchen and the updated bathrooms with heated floors! And the beach is RIGHT OUTSIDE! You can walk to anyplace in town. We really enjoyed the free wine tasting at the Gull Hummock Gourmet Market and coffee at Peach Street Books. We just loved everything about it! Do not miss the opportunity to rent this house!

We absolutely loved the house and the location! Across from the beach and an easy walk into town and to the park. The two third floor bedrooms wouldn't really work for couples (small beds) or tall people (attic ceiling) but worked out perfectly for my daughter and grandson. All the rooms had beautiful views, the kitchen was nicely equipped, the living room was perfect for movie nights, we loved eating and playing games in the sun room and every evening we went out on the second floor deck to watch the sunset. There were nine of us and we had plenty. of space, bathrooms, etc. The wifi worked great which. was a plus.
I recommend you bring your own beach towels, if you plan to spend time at the beach, as there were only two provided. Other than that, we wanted for nothing!

We loved being so close to the beach. The house was nicely decorated and there was plenty of room. We spent lots of time on the beach and took a dolphin sightseeing trip. Expect restaurants to have limited menu and longer wait times but it’s expected. There were issues with ants and the maintenance person was responsive but the ants continued. The washer was off balanced a lot but the location makes up for the issues. And they did try.

Look no further. Blue Bay is about 40 steps to the beach. The house is family-friendly with large gathering spaces. You will not want to leave the gorgeous upper deck that overlooks the bay. The home was spotless upon our arrival. The beds and soft furnishings were clean, comfortable, and stylish.

If you have a larger family, Blue Bay is the place to stay in Cape Charles. We would love to stay here again, and we have already told others to book now.

While in CC, we enjoy visiting Brown Dog Ice Cream, take-out pizza on Blue Bay's beautiful deck, and the Hook @ Harvey for a special meal. Oh, and make sure to visit Costal Bakery for some delicious morning treats best retrieved on a golf cart.

We had a wonderful week staying at Blue Bay. It was perfect for my family and the easiest walk to the beach ever! The house was very clean and had all the essential kitchen tools you need. The house was beautiful decorated. Our favorite sitting area was the top deck! Beautiful sunsets! We will definitely be staying here again!

Chessie view is a beautiful, spacious home. Prime location, very clean & well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here & will definitely return soon! Management was very professional & helpful. I highly recommend Chesapeake Properties!

We had a great, relaxing weekend. Overall, great house and location. For some reason, trash cans we missing from some of the rooms but we found in odd places when we were packing up to go home. Second floor balcony is awesome for cocktails and watching the sun set on the Bay. First floor sun room is great but furniture very uncomfortable.

Chessie View is in a great location for a stay in Cape Charles. Right across the beach and an easy walk or golf cart ride to town. The house was great especially the deck and the sun room. There was a bit of an ant issue in the kitchen.

Wanted a quiet beach getaway after 3 months of pandemic stay home. Booked this place as it was enough room for my whole family and it was perfect! Lots of bedrooms for privacy and common space for gathering to eat, watch TV or hang out and chit chat. And very important - plenty of bathrooms! Would definitely recommend this home and looking forward to another visit.

We had the greatest time in the beautiful home! We noticed immediately that the house was VERY clean- which is not always the case when renting. We were very thankful and this was a big deal to us! Chessie was beautiful from the kitchen/tile/lighting, we loved the sunroom area and especially loved the top deck for sunsets. My family and I love finding new beach towns and Cape Charles has certainly made our list- but only if we can stay in Chessie again! Literally the only thing that I would recommend is a place outside for rinsing the sand off your feet from the beach. We can’t wait to return! Happy 2020!

We already knew Cape Charles and have family nearby so this was ideal for Thanksgiving get-togethers. It was just what I wanted for family from 20 mos to 72 years! Fireplace wonderful for a winter stay...

Wow, what a beautiful home and perfectly appointed! We spent the majority of our time on the enclosed front porch!! From that beautiful porch we could walk right out to the beach! So, certainly couldn’t be more convenient! Love, love cape Charles and will definitely book this house again!!

We had a great time with family. House was in almost perfect shape, as if it was renovated just for us. Location if perfect, just across from the beach, and just far away from town. Second floor porch has great views of the bay.

We rented this home for our family attending a local wedding and it became the "hub" for everyone that weekend. The 2nd floor porch view was breathtaking, especially at sunset.

Chessie View is the perfect place to stay in Cape Charles! This really feels like home. Upstairs "look about" porch is delightful. Enclosed downstairs porch is the also a great space. Home has a great view of the bay and dunes. Close to down. All around it's the perfect spot!

The house is located directly across the street from the beach and a brief walk to downtown. The property was neat and clean and enjoyed by all. I would recommend this to others as we look forward to booking future stats!!

Beautiful home with large kitchen and plenty of places to hang out. Fantastic second floor deck that gave a great space to have a drink and get a great view of the bay. Quick walk to all shops and restaurants. Property management was very accommodating and were able to answer any questions we had. Looking forward to renting this property again in the future!

We had a wonderful time in this newly renovated home. Perfect location and deck for watching sunsets. Located directly across the street from the Cape Charles City Beach. The renovations were very well done. Loved the decor. Screened in porch added to the enjoyment.
Within walking distance to town and the new Buskey Cidery (hope it stays) and the always famous Brown Dog Ice Cream store. Our family always enjoys renting a golf cart while we are there as all streets are golf cart friendly.
The third floor is a perfect get away for a family with a queen bed, and two twins and a bathroom.
By far, one of our favorite rentals in Cape Charles.

We had six adults and three children and it was perfect for our group! Hope to go back soon.

The house is completely redone and very well so. The shallow, calm beach is steps away and was perfect for the little ones; didn't have to worry about them in the water like we do at the ocean. Everyone had fun exploring the jetties for the diverse sea life and the nearby head boat and pier were convenient for fishing and crabbing. Cruising to the shops and restaurants in the rented golf cart was affordable and definitely recommended.

Loved it....other than not having coffee grounds for the next morning (that was a personal problem) there was nothing I would have wanted different. Absolutely worth your money. The weather was great and we spent most of our time on the second floor balcony. Ocean breezes and the sunsets were amazing.

Chessie View is a great spot! Newly renovated spot with a great location. The rooms are well appointed, the AC works great, a must for the warm weather in Cape Charles. Unlike a lot of the spots in Cape Charles it has a little room between the house and your neighbors. Still close to downtown but removed enough that it is nice a quiet. Would definitely stay there again.
